It organizes the great festivals and hosts the High Council, its wealth rivaling that of royal houses, yet recognition remains just beyond its grasp.
Oboro Drungo
Oboro Drungo is the Duke of Urdekar and head of House Drungo. A man of marked ambition, he advanced the fortunes of his house alongside his father, raising it within two generations from obscurity to great wealth. Though his power is considerable, his standing among the established houses remains uncertain. It is held that he seeks to secure for House Drungo a place among the Great Houses of the realm.
Lorena Drungo
Lorena Drungo is the wife of Duke Oboro. Born into House Lerence of Silvegurd, her marriage marked a rare union between the established nobility and the rising house of Urdekar. Though not of a Great House, her lineage lent distinction to the Drungo name. She is regarded as a devoted consort, and is said to hold high ambitions for the advancement of her children.
Malek Drungo
Malek Drungo is the eldest son of Oboro and heir to House Drungo. Though the title of Duke of Urdekar is determined by election among the merchant council, it is widely expected that he will succeed his father. He has received extensive education and training, equal in refinement to that of the great houses. He is regarded as ambitious, and is said to aspire to a place within the High Council.
Yogo Drungo
Yogo Drungo is the younger son of Oboro. Less prominent than his elder brother, he is nevertheless described as diligent and well instructed. It is expected that he will serve in support of Malek, contributing to the continued rise of House Drungo.
Ayana Drungo
Ayana Drungo is the only daughter of Duke Oboro. She is described as comely and well educated, and is said to aspire to a marriage that would bind her house to one of greater standing. Though her name does not yet carry the weight of the established nobility, her dowry is reputed to be considerable, and may draw the interest of powerful suitors.
