House Eansfort rules from Veskala, the great maritime hub of the Union and among the wealthiest cities in the world. Through its command of the largest port, the House wields considerable influence over trade and movement across Vurtgoren.
Duran Eansfort
As Grand Duke of Fushya, Duran Eansfort commands the maritime trade of the Union. From tribute to commerce, all ships pass through Veskala, where the Traders Guild and the Great Fleet are based. Known as both a capable warrior and an honourable man, he is regarded as one of the stabilizing forces within the High Council.
Evadne Eansfort
Evadne Eansfort, wife to the Grand Duke, bears the title of Duchess of Fushya. Born of the House of Grudham, she is sister to Graydon of Grudham, Highlord of Greylor. Within Veskala, she is regarded as a steady presence at her husband’s side, and commands considerable respect.
Ulfbert Eansfort
Ulfbert Eansfort is the eldest son of Duran, and heir to House Eansfort. He has already earned a favourable reputation in the administration of Veskala, assisting his father in matters of governance and trade. Trained as a warrior, he has claimed several victories in the jousts of Fushya, and holds a role in the oversight of the City Guard. Among the merchant families of the city, he is regarded as a steady and reliable successor.
Oriel Eansfort
Oriel Eansfort is the only daughter of the Grand Duke. Her standing and renown have drawn the attention of many noble houses, and she is counted among the most sought-after matches of her generation. As with all such unions, the decision rests with her father.
Uland Eansfort
Uland Eansfort is the youngest son of Duran, and second in the line of succession. Little is set down of him in the records. It is said, however, that he is a striking young man, inclined toward a life of ease and indulgence.
