House Verdon
House Verdon governs the most vital region of Gorendor from its seat in Vurtruphis. Regarded as the most adaptable among the Gorendori houses, it has embraced wealth and cunning as instruments of power, setting it apart from the Old Ways.
Torin Verdon
Torin Verdon is the sole Gorendori Highlord to command two votes within the High Council. His rule over Greoca makes him the wealthiest and most influential man in Gorendor. From his seat in Vurtruphis, he is seen as a voice of reason, known for his pragmatism and skill in negotiation.
Sanura Verdon
Sanura Verdon is the wife of Highlord Torin. Born into House Unsworth, she is sister to Kaelen Unsworth, formerly Grand Duke of Ulfar and now Grandmaster of Katavurt. As the consort of the most respected man in Gorendor, and kin to one of the most feared Ursathi, she is regarded as a figure of considerable influence.
Tevis Verdon
Tevis Verdon is the eldest son of Torin and heir to House Verdon. Known for his discipline, he completed the four-year course at the War Academy and received the education expected of his house. He has already taken part in the governance of Greoca alongside his father. While regarded as a capable successor, it is sometimes said that he lacks his father’s sharpness, and that his younger brothers may come to exert influence behind him.
Raena Verdon
Raena Verdon is the eldest of Torin’s children and his only daughter. Little is set down of her in the records, though her standing ensures that she will draw notable attention at the Love Ceremony.
Kirwin Verdon
Kirwin Verdon stands second in the line of succession after his brother Tevis. Like his brothers, he trained at the War Academy, though it is said in Vurtruphis that he is less inclined to warfare and more given to cunning. He is already involved in the affairs of House Verdon, and is regarded by some as a figure of ambition and promise.
Merwin Verdon
Merwin Verdon is the youngest of Torin’s sons. He is said to be closely aligned with his brother Kirwin, and the two are known to act in concert in the management of the family’s interests within Vurtruphis.
