Draven Meadows
Draven Meadows serves as a stable boy at Grudham Fortress. His mother having nursed the children of the Highlord, he was raised in close proximity to Lord Katanur and his sisters. It is said that he shows notable skill in fencing, and for this reason was taken into service as squire to the heir.
Jane Meadows
Jane Meadows is the sister of Draven. Little is set down of her in the records, though she is believed to maintain close ties to the household of the Highlord.
Raya
Raya is a temple girl from Rebetdor, acquired by Highlord Fontdor of Rudegan. Those who have seen her in his company speak of striking beauty, and it is said that she is held in particular favour, being accorded treatment beyond that of her station.
Joy
Joy is a temple boy from Rebetdor, in the possession of Highlady Franceska of Radena. His presence has given rise to quiet speculation among the nobility of Vurtruphis. He is described as comely and notably compliant in service.
Olrik Langley
Sir Olrik is a knight of Radena in the service of Highlady Franceska. He served her father, Fransen of Radena, and is said to have sworn himself to the protection of his daughter and the securing of her inheritance. Following her ascension, he has remained her most trusted companion in arms, attending her in all matters of consequence.
Gavin Brimson
Gavin Brimson is the squire of Sir Olrik, a youth of humble origin from Gruisia. He first came to notice after driving off a bear with little more than a club, an act that earned him the patronage of Highlady Franceska and access to formal training. His conduct thereafter secured him a place in Sir Olrik’s service, and he now accompanies the knight in his duties.
Mirelis
Mirelis is appointed as announcer for the Festival of the Great Fall. A young Urdekari in the service of House Drungo, he is noted for a ready wit, a quality well suited to his role.
